We offer this insurance through many different companies.
THE SAMPLE POLICIES HAVE BEEN REMOVED BECAUSE WE
ISSUE THIS INSURANCE THROUGH MANY DIFFERENT COMPANIES.
WE CANNOT CHOOSE THE BEST COMPANY FOR YOU
UNTIL AFTER YOU SUBMIT A COMPLETE APPLICATION. AND BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE JUST
ONE "SAMPLE POLICY",
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CLEARLY COMMUNICATE TO A POTENTIAL APPLICANT
WHICH "SAMPLE POLICY" WE WOULD
RECOMMEND FOR HIM OR WHICH "SAMPLE POLICY" WILL BE ISSUED FOR HIM.
AND YES, SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION WITHOUT FIRST READING THE SAMPLE POLICY REQUIRES
YOU TO MAKE A LEAP OF FAITH THAT WE PROVIDE
THE COVERAGE THAT YOU
ARE REQUESTING. KEEP THESE THINGS IN MIND:
We have been in business since 1993. Therefore, we must be doing something right.
We have no consumer complaints and no disciplinary actions against us since 1993.
PLEASE, UNDERSTAND THAT ALL REQUESTS FOR A SAMPLE POLICY WILL BE
DECLINED FOR THE REASONS STATED. IF YOU CANNOT FEEL COMFORTABLE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION AND ESTIMATED
PREMIUM WITHOUT FIRST SEEING A SAMPLE POLICY, THEN WE CAN ONLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONTACT ANOTHER AGENCY
FOR ASSISTANCE. WE CAN'T BE ALL THINGS TO ALL PEOPLE. BUT AT THE SAME TIME, WE ARE UNAWARE OF
ANY INSURANCE COMPANY OR AGENCY THAT PROVIDES "SAMPLE POLICIES". SO, OUR POSITION IS A VERY COMMON
POSITION ADOPTED IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY.
SOME DOG WARDENS DON'T LIKE THE FACT THAT OUR PREMIUMS ARE LOW AND WE MAKE THIS INSURANCE EASILY ACCESSIBLE. WE
BELIEVE THAT THIS IS BECAUSE SOME DOG WARDENS PREFER TO PUT A DOG DOWN. SO, THEY SET THE DOG OWNER
UP FOR FAILURE BY SETTING REQUIREMENTS THAT THE DOG OWNER CAN'T MEET SUCH AS REQUIRING THE DOG
OWNER TO FIRST PROVIDE A SAMPLE POLICY FOR THEIR APPROVAL. SUCH DOG WARDENS KNOW WE DON'T PROVIDE
SAMPLE POLICIES AND KNOW THAT MOST OF THE TIME, IF NOT ALL OF THE TIME, WE ARE THE LEAST EXPENSIVE
OPTION FOR DOG OWNERS. SO, THEY REQUIRE A SAMPLE POLICY ONLY BECAUSE THEY KNOW WE DON'T PROVIDE THEM; THEREBY, FORCING DOG OWNERS
TO BUY THEIR POLICIES FROM ANOTHER PROVIDER THAT IS MORE EXPENSIVE.
BUT A DOG WARDEN CANNOT LAWFULLY DEMAND THAT YOU PROVIDE A SAMPLE POLICY. YOU SHOULD DEPEND ON
THE ADVICE GIVEN YOU BY YOUR PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE AGENT AND NOT ON THE INSURANCE ADVICE GIVEN YOU
BY A DOG WARDEN WITHOUT INSURANCE EXPERIENCE. PURCHASE THE BEST POLICY FOR YOUR NEEDS AND PRESENT IT TO THE
DOG WARDEN. OUR POLICIES WILL ALWAYS MEET AND EXCEED THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS.
ABILENE, TEXAS, KERR COUNTY, TEXAS,
AND DULUTH, MINNESOTA HAVE PEOPLE IN AUTHORITY, SUCH AS THE CITY ATTORNEY OR THE
ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER, WHO DEMAND A SAMPLE POLICY FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF DIVERTING YOU
AWAY FROM BUYING YOUR INSURANCE FROM OUR AGENCY ONLY BECAUSE WE MAKE IT EASY
FOR DOG OWNERS TO COMPLY WITH THE INSURANCE REQUIREMENT. SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
HAS VICKI LUBRIN, THE LICENSE MANAGER, WHO IS
A WOMAN WITH NO FORMAL EDUCATION AND WHO HAS ABOUT TWELVE JOB TITLES.
SHE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO LIE TO PEOPLE AND TELL THEM
THAT OUR AGENCY IS A "HOAX" AND NOT TO BUY FROM US.
THIS IS HOW HATEFUL
SOME DOG WARDENS ARE. THEY HAVE YOUR DOG IN THEIR CUSTODY,
THEY THREATEN TO EUTHANIZE YOUR DOG
IF YOU DON'T COMPLY WITH THEIR DEMANDS, AND THEN THEY
CREATE FALSE AND UNREALISTIC OBSTACLES FOR YOU
AND FORCE YOU TO BUY THE MOST EXPENSIVE INSURANCE AVAILABLE (WHICH ALSO HAS THE HIGHEST DEDUCTIBLES AND MAJOR EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS AND
PROVIDES THE LEAST AMOUNT OF COVERAGE) SO THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE, IF ANY, CAN MEET THE DEMANDS AND MUST
GIVE THEIR DOG TO THE AUTHORITIES TO BE EUTHANIZED.
How can we be so bold in our statements? We have been in business for almost twenty years and know when
something is terribly wrong. For example, in 2005, we stopped issuing insurance policies to people who were approved
for IndyMac Bank construction loans because we had information that IndyMac Bank loan officers were coaching
loan applicants on how to misrepresent the facts on their loan applications to get their applications approved.
In fact, IndyMac Bank loan officers were even submitting insurance applications with false information; prentending to
be the client. And when we stopped approving insurance policies to insure IndyMac Bank construction projects, we were
falsely accused of turning business away because we were guilty of taking
premium but not issuing policies which resulted in an investigation into our
agency that turned up nothing but the revelation that we have a very organized insurance office.
We don't know if these accusations were made in retaliation or if IndyMac Bank and others could not
believe that an insurance agent would not turn business away unless there was something the insurance
agent was hiding. YES, SOMETIMES, PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY ARE SHOCKED TO FIND THAT WE ARE NOT
MOTIVATED BY GREED AND ACTUALLY PERFORM SERVICES FOR FREE OR FOR FAR LESS THAN THE COMPETITION.
But in 2008, IndyMac Bank, was closed
by the Office of Thrift Supervision because it failed due to all the bad loans it had approved.
When you know something is wrong, if you
don't do something about it, you can't complain about what you get.
We won't be part of the problem that
some dog wardens create because sooner or later, the truth will be revealed. We won't let any
dog warden or other person in authority tell us how to provide you, the client, with the best
policy at the best price because, after all, the dog warden is not a licensed insurance professional and
has no legal authority to dispense insurance advice. And if you buy the policy the dog warden tells you to buy,
and you later have a claim that is denied; the injured party's lawyer should seek damages from the dog warden personally
if you would have qualified for a different policy that had more comprehensive coverage and would not
have denied the claim.
